SUN-to-LIQUID II third General Assembly
The third General Assembly of the EU project SUN-to-LIQUID II was held on October 22nd and 23rd, 2024. It was organized in the premises of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) and welcomed by Professor Aldo Steinfeld in his role as the Special Expert Advisor for the project and as key innovator in the sector of solar reactor technology.
The meeting was jointly organized by ETH (Professor Aldo Steinfeld) & Synhelion (Dr. Christophe Falter).
“One key of success of direct solar energy utilization for high-temperature applications lies in the ability to intelligently and efficiently manage heat exchange and storage at such high temperatures. We had a very fruitful meeting with cutting-edge research presentations to attain our ambitious performance target in SUN-to-LIQUID II. In addition, a spectrum of activities to move the entire field forward was presented.” said Dr. Andreas SIZMANN the project coordinator.
