The SUN-to-LIQUID II demonstrator construction has started! 

The commissioning of the SUN-to-LIQUID II demonstrator has started this summer in the IMDEA premises in Móstoles (Spain). While the adaption works in the solar tower have been achieved, the construction of several key elements in the coming month such as 50kW solar reactor with integrated heat recovery and gas-to-liquid plant will complete the 50 kW scale demonstration.

As per today, most relevant earthworks are completed and if you have a keen eye, you will see that the testing continues during the construction.

The experimental activities in the solar tower are expected to start by 2026.
